Shading is hard. I think it's the thing in drawing that you need to master in order to be good.
It is hard because it is so subtle. And because you need to know what you are doing and what it is that you are trying to achieve.
I am not sure what I should use as a guide to copy from. I am thinking about getting a wooden doll thing and a spot light, but that doesn't help with where the muscles are etc... It is a big challenge.
